Real freight. Real miles.
SSP’s freight is contracted, lane-anchored, and corridor-structured. You’re not chasing spot loads or waiting in queue — you’re moving freight that’s already booked.
Drive with SSP
Become a company driver or owner-operator with SSP — part of an asset-backed North American operation with structured dispatch, real freight, and digital onboarding through DriveDock.
DriveDock
DriveDock is SSP’s digital driver onboarding platform. Start or resume your application, choose your operating country, upload the right documents, and move through a guided six-step process in English, Spanish, or French.
Begin a new application or return to one already in progress. The flow is built so drivers can complete onboarding in stages without losing context.
DriveDock supports English, Spanish, and French so applicants can move through the process in the language they are most comfortable using.
Drivers select Canada or USA before continuing, so document requirements match the applicant’s region and the onboarding path stays clear.
Personal information, employment history, driving record, medical information, references, and final review are collected in a structured sequence.
Driver’s license, identity, medical, passport or residency documents, and optional FAST, incorporation, or banking documents are gathered securely.
Once the application is submitted, SSP recruiting and compliance review the file, confirm fit, and move qualified drivers toward orientation and dispatch readiness.

Start with DriveDock(opens in a new tab)A current commercial driver’s license is required for both Canada and USA applicants, with endorsements reviewed against the role and freight type.
Canada applicants may need SIN, health card, passport, US visa, or PR/work-permit documentation. USA applicants may need SSN, passport, PR, or citizenship documentation.
Medical documents are collected during onboarding where required, including medical certificate information for USA applicants and applicable health documentation for Canada applicants.
DriveDock captures employment history and driving record details so SSP can review experience, safety standing, and lane fit before moving to the next step.
FAST card, passport, visa, or residency documents help SSP qualify drivers for Canada-U.S. and U.S.-Mexico corridor work where applicable.
Incorporation and banking documents may be requested for incorporated drivers or owner-operators so setup can move faster after qualification.
